I guess folks COMPLETELY missed that I acknowledged/accepted that the decision had been made. Ah well, guess I have to live with my ol' idiot self. Then again...I believe we may have seen a first: Whining about whining. Is that Whining^2 (squared)?

Rob, just keep doing what you're doing....it's not your fault the some people don't understand the difference between a real GT car and a prototype. This is a great class, lots of bodies to choose from and a spec tire. I run USGT and 17.5 TC and Gt is my favorite class because of the (mostly) realistic looking bodies.

Saw this on another thread and thought it fit here.
"Unfortunately, xxxxx can't control what tracks do. So it is entirely possible for a track or event to spec a non-xxxxx motor (tire, battery, body, min weight, etc). That is their discretion and that makes it NOT a xxxxx event or track. It is unfortunate as it does cause the issues raised by xxx. But it is not something xxxxx can control. Xxxxx simply provides a rule set that tracks and events can follow if they choose to."

Myron must not hit things as hard/often as I do.
I have had two or three occasions where the body has been pushed in above the headlight and stuck. I use fiberglass cloth (not drywall mesh) to stiffen the front bumper and make it more durable. That may have caused it to stay after impact. I'm going to run a strip from the headlight to the top of the wheel well to see if that helps.

My original practice body since its release is still going strong. I use a strip of foam to close the gap. But that's about it.
I did hit another racer full speed and got a split but a piece of tape and back at it
