Can I still scrape the body on the walls, corners, dots and marshal's feet?

I scraped my rear suspension arm on a brick last night and left a shock and a couple of other bits on the carpet. Lightened the car up quite a bit but traction was severely affected.

At the end of the day, you've got to enjoy racing for the sake of racing. If you can only go home happy by winning...well, its not a hobby at that point.

Need to finish reading up some on the thread, but I just picked up my first USGT set up. It's an older kit, but looks new. It's a TA05 v2 with the 599XX body on it. Just need to order up another Futaba receiver and a transponder and i'll see how it do. Race mostly offroad but I was able to run an indoor offroad race the other weekend on carpet with my EB410 and I loved it... So figured why not.

TQRCRACING.COM has a good selection of Tamiya parts. You might want to have extra steering knuckles, caster blocks, front arms and rear uprights/bearing holders.

TA05 is a fantastic car and the nice thing about it and Tamiya is that you can use the arms, knuckles, uprights from TA04, up to TRF419x .. they all work for the car!

Only thing I would worry about being discontinued would be the belts.. which you don’t change that frequently

Ok, I'm a little confused, and I haven't gone completely through the entire thread, but if a body I wanted to use is not on the current list, then I can't use it? but then it says Body can be anybody that is NOT or HAS BEEN on the ROAR T2 body list.

i'm just trying to make sure before I pick up a body I like then not be able to use it. I've been leaning towards the new Mercedes AMG Gt3 from Tamiya, but it's no longer on the list, and the Nissan R360 was taken off the list..

Check with your local track to see if they will allow it. The list is more like guidelines for local clubs, but for big races like the southern nats it’s the gospel.

That is poorly phrased. It should read "is not or has NOT been on the ROAR T2 body list." And I believe it only applies to discontinued bodies, but again, it's not clear.
