I run a TT02-S in USGT that I paid $90 for and slapped on extra TRF dampers I had from my 419x. I'm right there with the guys running X-Rays and usually finish in top 3.

Chassis for USGT
I'm Using a T3 12 for USGT on pavement. I think that it may be getting a little too old to Race .
( I Definitely think its too old for Black carpet Now) What is the oldest Chassis you would try to Race Pavement and Carpet with? :tire: |

I was still having fun with mine, but in the end it comes down to personal preference. Or rather a decision you'll have to make on your own. |

For pavement I wouldn't hesitate to run a T3 '12. Mine had an Exotek conversion on it and I loved it. I felt more confident with it than my T4 '13. It always seemed like I could get more steering out of the T3. It wasn't too bad on the new black carpet, either, but I only ran it a handful of times indoor. At the time it was in VTA trim, then later in 25.5 TC trim.

rotoform C7 Corvette now available to order from their site. Announcement on their Facebook page. |
That Exotek is really pretty! But I'm concerned that it's a bit too much like the McAllister Corvette DP, and therefore faces an uphill battle for approval.

So ultra lightweight(0.5mm) bodies are USGT legal?

Rob King saw the prototype run a couple months ago at Tamiya USA. He had no problem with the body as it is based off a Pagani Huayra. I've helped Mike with testing and the body is awesome! Great balance, initial turn in and rear stability. I normally run a Mazda Furai body and the P-Zero is 2 tenths faster per lap:eek:
As far as the weight is concerned it is a sturdy substantial body. The design will hold up well to a lot of abuse. Front splitter is well designed for impact resistance. |
So I haven't been on here much but I was curious about the ring of death on these tires. What is the main cause? To much camber? Not enough camber? Heat?
