I went to Home Depot and bought a lead boot in the roofing section, roughly 3lbs (48oz or 1350g) of lead that is easily cut and can be molded to fit any desired shape, by far the most cost effective source for lead weight that I've been able to locate yet:

Regarding the minivan, Simon Pagenaud (please excuse the spelling) ran a hot-rodded Honda minivan at the 2013 Pikes Peak Hillclimb. If I recall correctly, it had over 500hp!

You know, I'm going to HAVE to get an Odyssey body now! *just to clarify, I've had a lot of real cars titled in my name, but never an Odyssey.:D |

(Tip from a local racer)
Check out Harbor Freight if you are needing wheel weights. Here is a link to 2 different options and they are made of zinc - no lead!! (http://www.harborfreight.com/catalog...=wheel+weights) ---------- Edit: Zinc isn't as dense as lead, so an ounce of zinc will be larger than an ounce of lead. |
