The cheap cost of buyin a second hand car an stil able too buy parts new for a cheap price was the clincher for me
plus it's basicly the same as my xxx4 so makes workin on it easier (same basic layout) an many interchangable parts
the fully sealed driveline is great too

If Precision still has the Jet racing parts...buy them. At that price they're a good buy. The Trinity unit can be found on Ebay every so often. Valkyrie RC has one for sale now for about 25 bucks. I just bought 2 from ebay and got lucky. Also, give Trinity a call....I think they still have some in stock.

paraletic, got your pm. Check out IRS. They have red dawg bones with pin cushions already on. My personal choice and on clearance. www.teamirsrc.com.
The standard ones are available here and there also. RCBOYZ has some. Cline hobbies also. Both of these shops are on Ebay. Hope that helps.

will those red bones take the standard axle?
and will they fit the standard "Plastic" losi out drives, as thats what I run - the kit out drives and "Team Hoagie" outdrive saver sleeves.

thanks again

The IRS bones are direct replacement for the Losi part# so fitment shouldnt be a problem. The pin cushions really do help with outdrive wear. If you REALLY want to go crazy...get the IRS red outdrives. All the xxxs stuff is on clearance and priced right.

Ok cheers again for that

outdrive wear isn't my problem it's the other end of the dog bone that I get the most wear from
where the axle cv is pinned into the dog bone, the holes in the dog bone elongate/egg and tear on the aluminium bones
if only losi double drilled them from factory, could get twice the life out the bones steel ones are ok but just excesdivly heavy in an already weighty chassis
