I have already placed an order for the composite outdrives and i don't have the extra money for alloy ones. Do the outdrive saver rings stop the composite outdrives from breaking? Could someone please tell me how they work, because i'm not sure.

Thanks

I ran the Trinity ones for well over 12 months without an outdrive breaking and most of that time I was running a Hacker 6t brushless.....

Alright, stupid question here!!

We run Purple/Plaids at our track, and I was about to order some from stormer and noticed that they have 26mm, 28mm, and 30mm. I'm a little confused as to what these sizes refer to. is that the tread width? If so, I have no idea what to get. I have some TRC purple and plaids on my car now, but when I bought them, i just got the ones that were at the hobby shop since there weren't other sizes offered.

I'm most likely going to cut them down to 59mm, but I want to make sure I get the right ones first!!

Can someone also recommend a nice set of calipers?? The person who i used to race with has them, but he no longer races. I'm on my own now...

The only mistake would be not having enough spare parts..

THe nail clipper method works as does just upgrading to the new black belt. Clipping that one is not needed as it is relatively free...

Thanks for your help
