Everybody drops their first bike. So look at the brand new bike you want to get now and imagine dropping it.

I think most of the accidents are from unaware riders, or unexperienced riders driving over their heads. Until I get the hang of things I'm gonna be babying the throttle like nobodys business.

Randy, I have a VFR 750 that i am getting rid of. It is a 97 that some guys used as a commuter so it has a lot of miles but it still runs good. I am by no means one to preach but i had a friend who started out on a sport bike, i think it was an old interceptor. who spent 3 weeks in the hospital after having his spleen removed. you cant steer with the front wheel in the air! Any way this thing is still plenty fast, i have been riding forever and it can scare me. pm me if you have any interest, i can always use more rc stuff!

what do you guys use to fit the tamiya shocks to the shock tower? as the losi parts dont obviously fit. So what do you use?

Cheers

I believe most guys here use aftermarket towers with the additional holse or they have custom graphite towers made and then drilled to order.

The Tamiya shocks come with the mounting balls, fortunately I had some nicer ones left over from an Evo 3 I had a while ago though.

Default motorcycle advice

Make sure you always wear a helmet,

that way the undertaker has one good piece to work with.

When approaching an intersection assume the guy in the left hand turn lane going the other way will at the last moment turn in front of you or if not him the guy right turn lane of the crossing street will turn in front of you.

When riding always assume you and your bike are totally invisable and that there is a driver in car out there who is stalking you and looking for an opportunity to kill you.

Default motocycle advice

Get a motocross bike.

I luckily lived through my sportbike phase. Waste of money if your lookin for a rush.

Now I ride motocross. Nothing can ever beat sailing 90 feet through the air looking at all the little people down below.

But seriously if you do want to continue with a sportbike learn to ride on a dirtbike on closed course or trails. Its cheaper and getting hit by another bike is not as hard as getting hit by a soccer mom.

But what if she's a CUTE soccer mom? You might be able to get something good out of it... like an ice cream cone or something

I can't help it if I'm immensly popular and ppl enjoy conversing over the subject that I bring up!

Btw, you just reminded me, I need to go by the bookstore and pick up some stuff....

grr....not enough time in the day...

I'll pick up a book on theoretical time travel and maybe I'll be able to work something out so that I can have more time to do all the stuff I want to.....

Novak is working on a Time Machine??

When will it be available?

How much will it cost?

Even if it works better with a power capacitor do I still need to run it?

You know, if I have to explain the power cap to you as well then we are really in trouble. But yes, it will work a lot better with the power cap.
