I guess you werent joking James...
We'll have to start hanging out at the car shows instead of the RC tracks now.

I tried to run some premounted HPI Foams on 26mm mesh rims today and while the hex seemed to be the right fit apparently it's too deep and causes the front wheels to bind against the spindles. Is there some sort of spacer I need to run these wheels? TIA

yes, you will need to run the AE hexes for the TC3, they are wider and space the wheels out further, you will need to run them on front and rear, you will also need to get some low profile locknuts to run, because there is not as much threads to threads the lock nut on when you run the AE hexes
I am so frustrated I am tired of trying to push my xxx-s harder and faster. It seems like there is always something I have to do to my G+ to make it faster to keep up. I think I might have to go get me a x-ray T1FK

The TC3 hexes come in either plastic and graphite to add about 1/16" to each side of the car. Get a set of the graphite ones for something like $3-4. You may likely spend $4-5 for the low profile aluminum locknuts.

What would be the minimum amount of servo torque needed for an xxx-s?
there is a simple solution to that problem too, put ball cups on the shock shafts instead of the eyelets, you also use the TC3 CVD stub axles, they have more threads, hit me with more
you don't need that much torque, unless you are talking about carpet, a S9541 servo is a good choice, as to a minimum, you would have to test alot on all diff. surfaces with all diff. setups
