Losi XXX-S
#9916
i found the extra rigid losi G+ bumper works well, BRP makes one too i believe. For R/C, buy the losi low, and buy two sets one to leave alone, one to grind a bit off of to make lower, i hope your running carpet, thats what my knowledge is all from. If you want to buy a backup xxx-s graphite conversion losi for a backup with all the tuning parts, along with a black belt give me a pm.

looks like Horizon got some in.. I have had my belt kits on backorder for about a month, and I got them in yesterday!!! For those of you who want some try calling Horizon instead of ordering them online.(they were cool enough not to charge me for shipping!!)

sorry randy, not too many, not any that would be worth it(shipping), if you know what i mean). I got batteries, a old intellipeak charger, if you want a fool around charger, some tires, the losi will be sold with a mx-3 fm radio, as soon as i get the rx from airtroincs.

I just saw on th PRP website that they are making graphite .079 shims to be used w/ the MF low roll center blocks. This should be the same as using a losi low (mid) roll center block but still keep the red bling on the car.

Bet ya they are pretty. Pictures pleeeeeeeeeeeeze.
How far back do I have to look to find the information on that milling bit you've been using? Must be something like a 1,000 posts ago.
Would you mind repeating that for the new audience...and me?
One idea I'm pondering is milling away at the inside of the XXX-S tunnel to lighten things up. Not sure what kind of tool bit would do that effectively.
Many thanks.

Already ordered a set @ $2.95 plus shipping. For that price, I not going to bother making them.
Too bad that these shims are their only offering for XXX-S car add-ons. Nice stuff!

Actually, the inside tunnel is milled out on a lot more cars than you'd think (literally) and seems to be a good way to go about losing weight. I even milled the inside tunnel a bit on my chassis on top of the outside work I did.
I use a common mill bit do do my work, .125" with 4 sided downcut spiral, you can find them from any company that makes milling bits.
