...on second look, it does include two pairs of front carriers. it might be 2 and 4?

nitrorcfan,

The inner pivot mounts will be available by the end of November. We are creating a brand new website just for the Losi XXX-S Parts that we are producing. Web address will be announced here once the website is complete

Thanks

It's pretty much agreed that the XXX-S is a pig (ie. overweight). If we start changing out the hub carriers, steering cranks, etc for aluminum pieces wouldn't that make the car even heavier? My real question is has anyone weighed the aluminum parts vs. composite vs. "stiffezel"? I doubt the difference in weight between stock and aluminum parts will help my abilities at all, but i'm curious all the same.

Default Losi Pig

Loose Cannon - I'm not sure if you've done this but change all of the XXX-S's screws from Steel to aluminum. Its quite a dramatic difference in weight. Also put on the aluminum MIP CVD's. Those are 2 pretty significant amounts of weight that can be reduced. If you can get your car to within about an once or 1.5 ozs of weight and you won't be able to tell the difference.

Dave K.

Have you been running rubber on ozite with your xxx-s? I have been struggling to keep the roll speed in the car. I ran the one-way Tuesday at Trackside and still didn't really like the car.

Mr. Losi, doesn't Paul L.'s setup have the blues up front and the silver in the rear? Did you find the the blues are too soft up front and scrub too much speed? Foam or rubber?

Hey Mr. Losi, I have the xxx-s. And this weekend I have a big race, rubber tires only. I have been running foams since I have purchased the car. So is your set-up for rubber tires? What rubber tires are you running? I have sorex 24's and 28's. Thanks in advance for any help.
