proudwinner - dont forget to expand and explain how that also effects camber gain and traction on entry and exit.

The air temperature for Wes' setup was about 10-15deg C, but the track was probably a little bit colder. It get's a bit cold over here in the winter.

The reason the car looks different from the setups is because those pictures were taken the day after the LRP race in Germany, the setup sheets had been handed in a couple of weeks earlier.

Lower inner pivot point on camber link=more Camber Gain.
Higher inner pivot point on camber link=less Camber Gain.

More Camber Gain will create more camber(more negative camber) as the chassis rolls which will result in more traction on exiting. To acheive this you will need your camber link to be angled more downward. Less Camber Gain will not create as much or no camber(negative camber) as the chassis rolls which will result in more traction upon entering.

I think I got this right, please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm pretty new to the dynamics of suspension's.

Thanks Shrekair, I'm gonna do more reasearch on the dynamics of the suspension today. I appreciate that post cause it got me doing some research on these parameters. Thanks-PW.

Sounds great Shrekair, I'll keep that race inmind. Man I sure would like to see a company make a XXX-S rear carbon fiber shock tower with some lower shock mounting holes on the tower.

Notice the new Losi Dish Wheels as well? I saw them in Colorado and they look nice. Plus an $8.00 retail for 4 of them is not bad either.

That paint is kind of hurting.....

So what is the hot deal with running 28mm foams on the front? .200" Ass hexes don't seem to be enough offset.

I picked up my xxx-s last night. I plan on racing it today. That stamped aluminum bar that supports that tensioner pulley was a b+tch to get on. I just hope I put it on right.
