I ran the Ron setup last weekend with a couple exceptions.Didn't have the white springs so I went one step heavier...F-yellow,R-orange.Wasn't sure about underdriving the front so I stayed with the 42.Car ran really well on the small track I race on.Will try the 41 up front this weekend.
MDawson,Do you think you lost any speed on the straights by underdriving the front....what about straight line stability?

The 41 for Rons setup was in the rear, not the front. I have tried the 41 up-front and wasnt a big fan of it with a large track.

You gotta try 41 in the rear to really make his setup work. Speed was not at a loss. The control gained in onpower was worth the change.

What is your rideheight with your preload? I have both rear shocks measured at 66mm.

I think the way the picture is taken the color looks more orange than it really is. Personally I'm not sure I'll buy anything from this lineup as most of it appears to be cosmetic only. Wish Trinity or somebody would release a 64 pitch gear adapter for this bad boy. Also would like to see a stiffer front foam bumper. Can't wait to run the car again this weekend Hope my chassis arrives in time.........

Only thing that looks interesting to me is the motor braket and the motor plate. Maybe the steering bellcranks but that is about it. I guess the little hinge pin holders that mount on the chassis may be good but then again I don't think the stock units are under that great deal of stress so that the hole will get out of shape where you insert the pin. Also remember that they will come out with the aluminum parts for the high and low center of gravity mounts. I too want that damn 64 pitch gear adapter!!! I also want a front bumber that is stronger and that top plate that mounts to the chassis.

I have been running the aluminum pivot mounts front and rear and must say I was sold this last weekend when another driver pitched a piece of the track at the end of a 150ft straight, the board speared my car dead on, the only casualty was a torn body and right from a-arm. At the moment I really thought that the front end was done. It is eye candy that works.

You can always shave the inside pivots mounts to accomodate low-roll center setup.
