Cool

Well, if you work at your LHS, and can get them cheap, that's great! But for the x-tra 75 dollars, I don't think I would notice a difference.

Matt - Maybe... I guess i'm use to being loose all the time, so it was a welcome change. I'll try that setup, and maybe play with the camber-gain like what you did. For the box setup, i didnt think it was bad.

Speedo - Boca Sportsman don't cost that much. They are just a little more than Dynamite's red seals if i remember correctly.

Cool

The stock kit bearings seem to work well for me. I will probably order some bearings from that site, just to see though...cause the prices are great.

I'm sure they are good, I'm just saying that the good ones are a little too pricey for me.

Troy-

Try shortening the rear camber link one hole on the rear tower, that will let the rear end dump over a little in the rear and give you the steering you are looking for more than likely.

This may sound crazy to everyone, but I just wanted to share a little experimenting that I did this weekend.

I have a Novak TC2 and Tekin G-10 Pro. I have never used the Tekin and decided to give it a try. I liked the idea that you could change the parameters without a pit wizard.

After several packs, I have determined that the tekin is going to be the SC for racing for me.

Just thought I might share this.

Troy, this sweet spot? how did you determine it? I am still strugling trying to find it myself. The factory drivers all say they are running the belt tensioner as loose as they can, but when I do that, bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhh goes the belt. Another issue that I came up with yesterday is gear mesh. I never gave it much thought until the second pack I went to accelerate and the car was noisier than a TC3. Had to do the old paper trick.

i also had a tekin g10...it was a great esc...every bit as good as a novak....but with tekins rumored problems...i swiched to novak...

as for the belt, in stock i run mine fairly loose, as in almost as loose as i can get...now in mod, i have it pretty tight, i have it so the belt just skips on braking....

Well, It wasn't binding, yet it only clicked about 3 times. So i called that my sweet spot. If i ran any looser, it would click llike crazy ( matt - skip was yellin at me to take it easy..nurse it around the track. I don't think he knew clicking is ok )
