pretty much the same as yours, you remember you gave me your specs? But instead of the Orion 10T you have, we're going to use my D5 9T single.

Exclamation

Lets put an end to the BS here!

This guys micro is NOT going 70 or even 60 miles an hour.

Simple math:
One mile = 5280 feet = 63,360 inches.
Tire Diameter = .75 inches ( i could be a bit off here but even at an inch its not a huge difference)

Distance per revolution of tire = 2.35 inches.

Take 63,360 inches (mile) diveded by 2.35 inches per rev. = 26,890 revolutions per mile of the tire.
So, to go 60 mph, the tires would have to turn at 26,890 per minute (1 mile per minute = 60 miles an hour)

This guys motor is turning around 45,000 rpm, geared 28/58 which is 2.07:1 ratio.

Divide 45,000 rpm (no load) by 2.07 to acheive 21,724 revolutions of the tire per minute.

Another calculation determines that 21,724 rpm of the tires means the car is traveling at 48.5 mph.

That motor WILL NOT even turn 45,000 rpm in the car.

Do the math,

Enough said.

Too bad your tire diameter is half the size of the real one. Maybe you should get the facts before you wast your time making yourself look stupid.

Also, what is your "other calculation"?

Looks like your "simple math" worked real good, NOT. I suggest that you not post again (here), because you'll just make yourself look bad again. Just a tip.

One more thing, When holding my car in the air, it gets around 90 mph, so don't say that the speed isn't under load or anything.

We all know that no one cares about you, so stop posting here. Also, I didn't edit the videos, and the 75 mph speed meter picture (which probably didn't see) is enough to prove something.

I can't stop laughing at you.

its simple math- child.

I used to have a micro. Tell me then, what is the Exact diameter of the tires?

Another calculation determines that 21,724 rpm of the tires means the car is traveling at 48.5 mph.
Thats 21,724 rpm TIMES 2.35 inches per revolution. So, in one minute the car will travel 51,051 inches (63,360 in a mile) So, dived 51,051 by 63,360 to achieve a ratio of the hour which equals .805. Multiply .805 times 60 minutes to determine the acctual speed of the model: 48 MPH

Oh look. I listen about as well as you do.

This thread is entertaining. Good job pitcrew for pointing out the obvious steaming pile And to ajg, ignorance is bliss isn't it?

I think it's time to put up or shut up....and no, an el-cheapo speed sensor that requires calculations and conversions does not count. RADAR does.

I am wondering if pit crew is the same guy I know: who works at (and race at ) Fantasy World. He always had Birdman motors (and Y-Shirts.....)

If it is who I think it is......AJG, it would be a fine time to do a video to prove your point or get flamed!!!! He is one of the fastest racers I know in Washington......

prepare yourself, AJG.......he's comming!!!!

OH YES!!!!! I do know you!!!!I always came to borrow your tools, cause either I left mines home or your was just better than mines.... How's Dave and the gang? Betcha Franko is still trying to keep up!

Alright, put this poor soul to rest about his car!!! a few guys and myself was going to put together his exact car (minus we were going to use a 9T single) to prove to him, by video his micro is not fast at all! Quiet a few guys here race, and a couple of them are MPs with access to radar guns!

At first kindness couldn't overcome ignorance, so now we try humiliation........
