Generally for most big races, the track is closed the 2-3 days before practice. I don't know what the exact plan is for the event, But I expect the track to be closed Mon - Wed the week of the race.

Track will be closed Monday thru Wednesday before the event. We will be putting the final touches for the the event those days and making sure the track is perfect. The weekend Before will be a Saturday Practice and Sunday Onroad race.

I called and I was told that the track will be open everyday, except for half a day on either Tuesday or Wednesday for layout changes. I guess things have changed now.

I called the track and they told me that it will be open from monday thru wednesday on the reedy week.. I booked my tickets and will arrive on 23th sunday night and plan to run on monday thru wednesday.. I can't change the date no more.. it cost too much for me to book the air ticket/hotel etc for only 4 days of control practice + race.. Please confirm if the track will be closed on Mon-Wed.. if so, I have no choice but to cancel my ticket(pay for penalty) and drop out the race.

You were going to pay for 4 extra days of rental car, and 4 extra days of hotel, but aren't going to pay the penalty fee? What airline are you flying?

That was what I was told as well when I called. I have to fly 22 hours to attend this race. I hope they will make up their mind soon.
