Thanks,
yeah!! it's correct!! I love Composite out drives, I have one made alluminium, and one made Composite, I prefer aluminiun, only because its more easy to make setup. but in aluminiun, you will have to change the blades every race.

About the blades, can not use Tamiya drive shafts, since we want to use Tamiya blades?

And for another question, what could i do if i want to put this geardiff to my Cyclone TC, please?

Best regards
Both front and rear belts are from Cyclone TC not the tamiya belts. Since the gear diff and the front pulley are 37tooth, those belts fit perfectly with the 20tooth center pulleys.

As for the drive shaft blades, if you use hb drive shafts the blades should also be the hb. If you use tamiya drive shafts, the blades should be the tamiya blades. I just don't know if those blades are compatible with hb drive shafts.

I don't think they are. The blades on the tamiya are generally a lot smaller. The "ball" at the end of the driveshaft is also much bigger on the HB driveshafts. The blade must be bigger to accommodate this. Tamiya blades would be way stretched out on HB drivshafts, and HB blades would just flop around everywhere on Tamiya driveshafts

Thanks for your reply, sorry for my mistake for the 416x rear belts instead of rear shafts.
About Cyclone TC, in fact i have asked you before but you didn't answer me yet.
Could be possible using WCE belts for matching geardiffs?

Best regards

this is easy to know. take the number of tooth of gear diff puley, and number of tooth of pulley central. now you do the math. in this case. 37/20 = 1,85 and, this will be your new internal ratio.

Hi mac853,
Sorry i missed your question. I have tested gear diff with Cyclone TC in the past and i used Serpent's gear diff at that time. If you can find it, you can try gear diff on the Cyclone TC as well.

As Korey mentioned, HB drive shafts have bigger "ball" and they don't fit to tamiya drive cups because of this. Therefore, when you use HB drive shafts with spec r gear diff for the tamiya 416, you have to do some dremel work on the drive cups as i mentioned earlier.

You will have to make the inside of the drive cups bigger and also make the slots bigger to fit the hb blades.
Also, when you put tamiya front pulley on hb spool, you have to make new holes on either spool or pulley. When you put the front pulley on the spool, the pulley have to be perfectly centered on the spool other wise it will wobble.

Hope it helps.
Thanks,
