Default Vent hole on shock (carpet race)

Hi guys,
I would like to know if the HB drivers use drill a hole in the cap of the shock, to improve the performance of carpet racing...It's a better solution?
I forgot to watch it during the ETS race in Italy

I think they only do it in very high grip conditions. It does make the shock get 0% rebount all the time, but they need to be rebuilt more often. I have one set of shocks standard and one with a hole in the car, personal preferance I guess. It can help stop traction roll also

At the last ETS in Italy, Andy, me (Dominik Fleischmann) and ProStock winner Steffen Leinburger did use caps without a hole. I thought that traction was a little bit better, car was easier to drive and I still didn't have any issues with traction rolling. So in this case, it was better without the hole.

Thanks for info. Was at brca Ardent winter national at the weekend and had the pleasure of watching Andy Moore. His tcx looked the most planted of all the cars. Was amazing.

Dominik any chance that you would be able to post up your setup from the Ets.

Would be much appreciated.

Here's the setuo I used at the ETS. Think that Andy's was quite the same, despite the chassis.

Did you use an iPhone or iPad? There it is blank, don't know why. When I download it on the Mac it opens as it should. Strange.
