You beat me to it; I'm working on a very similar car but based on a TC6. 3-belt, stubby lipo is the future

Yours looks very nicely made. Are the bulkheads and layshaft mounts custom machined or off an existing car?

The motormount, the brace behind the motor, all shafts and the bearing holders for the middle shaft are custom made. The front/rear bulkheads are original TCX parts.
Also all carbon fibre parts are new, it's the same material i also used for my TCX option chassis that was used by Freddy and Dominik to make the A-Main and Oliver Franke to make the podium finish in ProStock class

Marcel,

How would you compare your chassis on Asphalt compared to the kit HB one? Looks to be the goods on carpet im just wondering if the results have been as good on asphalt. Also, what thickness is the chassis and how wide is it?

Thanks,

Antoni

How is the Spec-R diff right out of the package? Does anything need to be upgraded right away? (gears, pins, outdrives, gaskets, etc.)

Is it possible to run the DCJ's up front with the Spec-R diff? Or are the outdrives too short?

How do the Spec-R low friction belts compare to the kit belts?

Thanks

I've been using Spec R gear diffs for a little while.
Very good once I got it to stop leaking.....it was my fault due to incorrect building.

Gave the TCX great steering feel.

the SpecR top deck was a good add on.

Default CASTER 6° ON TCX

Hi Guys!
I would like to know if it is useful to put the caster to 6 ° (on carpet track) as commonly used with rubber wheels or sponge wheels .
Hara, Moore and company seem to have abandoned this solution in their setup on carpet.
What do you think about ?

Thanks
