i currently running the exotek hbx, and i really like the car response over-all than with the original tc chassis.
the new tcx chassis is similar in width to the hbx with already uniform cut-outs left to right, and even more improvements on the electronic placements
i would expect the tcx to perform even better.

do any of the team drivers know if we'll need to make the same changes as with the older versions; like changing the front toe block from 2.5 to 1.5 degrees, changing the pistons to the 1.1mm, 3 hole versions and the springs to the HPI Blues and Pinks? I have noticed though that the build does include 1.5 mm shims under all the toe blocks which was a change that everybody made from the previous standard.

For rubber tires racing in Thailand, Hara uses 1.5° front toe block, has 1.1mm 3 holes pistons F/R, and 1.5mm shims under all suspension blocks. Mostly using Gold (F) and Silver (R) shock springs at all time.

that Gold (F)/Silver (R) seems to be a pretty much universal spring setup

no he meant MSRP is $930.00 so street price will be roughly 40-50% of that.

I shld have waited

I should have waited b4 selling up my last cyclone! I bought an MI4LP - which I am happy with in any event.

I love the fact that Hot Bodies properly test and develop a car before it gets released - unlike schumacher who seem to release a car then develop it:sneaky:

Professor Slide is one of the most helpful guys at the track. He taught me a lot of things when I first started out. Thanks again for sharing all the info on the new TCX. People like him are the ones making this hobby so much fun :)

Solaris Tires.

rcevilempire has coverage of the race and used most of my pictures. The link is towards the bottom of the page. The pictures aren't labled but the first page of cars are invite cars (Lemieux, Cyrul, Rheinard, etc) and the rest are race photos.
