Evo IV carpet setup
Devon Racer,
Here is the setup that I've been using for stock racing on carpet w/ good results the last few weeks: Front End use diff instead of oneway shocks-60 wt. fluid, Associated purple springs, pos. #3 on both arm and tower camber link-stock position wheelbase-stock position susp. blocks-A/A swaybar-blue -2 deg. camber, 4 deg. caster, 0 deg. toe may try -1.5 deg. camber if car oversteers on corner entry ackerman-stock position Rear End shocks-50wt. fluid, Associated red springs, pos. #4 on tower and #3 on arm camber link-stock position wheelbase-stock position susp. blocks-A/C swaybar-none -2 deg. camber tires-Parma plaid on front, purple on rear trued to 2.35" (need to use 6mm hex hubs w/ 1mm spacer on front to clear these tires) droop-4mm front and rear (less if smaller tires are used) ride height-5mm body-Parma Alfa Romeo Hope this helps....:) |
