Guys,
The longer i spend in EP racing i notice that many motors and ESC's are the same or only small cosmetic differences between brands, it's a bit annoying to buy a new motor pull it apart and find the rotor and stack are the same as other motors you already own. I'd like to try and start a list of motors & ESC's that are rebranded or minor changes from whoever makes the OEM part, probably not gonna be popular but give it a go.
I checked some of the motors i have and found that GM, SP v3, Trinity Duo, Fantom are all the same rotor, stack and sensor only cosmetic packaging differences. It's pretty funny to hear people say oh my SP v3 is way faster than your GM or whatever, when they are the same thing internally. Also, it's obvious that SP, Hobbywing and those other ESC derivatives are from the same family.
Just throwing it out there for curiosity...

There is actually only a few factories in the world making motors for our market, you have found motors all made by one. As for ESC's, I can only think of HW/SP connection.

TeamNovak designs and builds all brushless motors here at our factory in Irvine, CA. In fact, you can customize your own motor and we will build it according to the options you select:
TeamNovak: Build-A-Ballistic™
Companies selling Chinese-made motors do have difficulty differentiating their motors. We not only make our motors, but we also re manufacture the motors so that we can offer our customers a comprehensive trade-in program for their old motors---and also old speed controls.
Because we design and manufacture the motors (and controllers) here, we also offer a complete line of service items and optional accessories for our products. So if you need a new rotor or wound stator (or power capacitor) you can find one and perform minor repairs without returning the product for service.
