I would be curious to hear feedback of one versus the other as well as brush/spring combos used.
Thanks,

Very interested in hearing feedback on how to set up a Reedy flame 19T for 12th scale. I have never run one before, but it looks like that's what I'll be running mostly this winter. Any help offered is greatly appreciated.

we are running c2 on carpet. alot of different setups that seam to work. I am running 767 with red posi and green negative. some of the guys are running 4499 and some are running the lightspeed 3910 all with the same springs. were are generally running 28-29/96 and rears are 44mm. i don't have the roll out, but guess you can figure it out from what I gave you. You will want to run the motor on the warm side. they tend to like it that way. lol

I used to get the GPs from www.cheapbatterypacks.com but they only carry a new 180ma cell now; it looks good (I haven't run them yet) but are quite a bit longer than the GPs.
With the Reedy 19T I have been running Reedy 767 with a 5/64" hole the center and Trinity Green springs geared 34/96 with 1.85" rear tires.
If you have really good batts you can run Reedy 768 vertical slot brushes. They are very fast but if your cells are below 400sec you will dump.

Thanks for the great help, guys! I really appreciate the head start. I would have never been close on that gearing with the Reedy.
Does anyone know what the body below is exactly, and if it is still available? I'm guessing it is a Hotbodies shell, and my guess is that it is tough to find, but I thought I'd ask.
Thanks much!

That body is still available, but I don't know if that is only in asia/japan or all over the world.
Anyway, here's a link to the japanese website. It's all the way down with the included partnumber. (that's all I can read
).
Corally also makes this body and the partnumber of it is '78110', maybe that one is easier to find.
You shouldn't forget that this body isn't the best out there, it doesn't have lots of downforce. Most people who drive them (if there are still some) are extending the rear wing and with scrap lexan to have more downforce as you can see in the attachments.
