CEFX

I'm gonna guess that Josh went to the fuel Nats this week. This can be confirmed I am sure by checking the entry list on the Nats homepage. Just do a google for the ROAR on-road Fuel nats. if not-I am sure hed return an e-mail in a day or two.

Here is a great deal on a Yokomo YRX12WE. Lookls like it's never been used. Comes with extra parts. If you are looking for a great 1/12th asphalt car, here it is.

Thanks. OD caught that issue too. I was planning to strip one of my L4's for its best parts anyway. OD caught the chassis mod at the front end too. He must be using a magnifier...

DIFF

1. tighter a diff and looser a diff....what would be the difference?

2. Too low a gear ration...looks like the car would keep pushing...is it nautral?

thx heeps

I also sent CEFX an e-mail (dont know if it's Josh's address or not) but havent heard anything back from them. I'd like to get a hold of one of the older cars, heard the new stuff is gonna be green, I think I'd like silver better personally.

These days there are indeed more green parts available as you can see in the attachment.
There were also plans to make green anodized pod plates, but I've never heard if they are really made.

Here would be a good start? Between all of us we probably own every 1/12th thats worth racing. What you you have?

I have run a RC12L3, Reflex-12 and currently run a Hyperdrive Pro 12.

Right here! Tell us what kind of car you have, if you are going to run stock or mod, and what kind of track you will be racing on. There are lots of people on this thread that can give you a basic set-up.

I put some setup tips online and list my setups that I use at races. I hope that helps.

Trinity 1/12 Bentley EXP Speed 9 Body.....

I've just received one of these bodies in the mail to use on my 1/12th car when it arrives (I admit I got it because it was cheap lol).

But the info on Tower Hobbies said it had clearly marked cut out lines. They failed to mention that these lines only apply to the front and there are none for the rear wheel arches. :(

Any tricks on how to get this body lined up, and how to cut decent arches without any guide etc would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah. For an old man, his eyes are pretty good. At least for seeing flaws. Now if he could only see the track!!

There are a couple of ways you can get around the chassis issue, Bill. We can talk about it off line. Sorry I missed that.
