Wiring
Bill, Anton,
That is actually Jim's own build on the 12L4. He did use a lot of the ideas we've been working on this season. Heres a shot of my Rev4 with centered wiring. It was harder than a tbar car since there is no space between the batteries. This car was built using 16ga wire from Cheap Batter Packs.com, very good flexible wire which you can buy in small or large quantities. We now use the Castle Creations wire as Ashby said, because it's smaller in diameter. |
oops!

and without the battery pack

with the spektrum modules release, the receiver wire no longer needs to be long. What do you guys think about removing the upright antenna and rounting the wire on the inside of the car? I would think that the weight of that fiberglass antenna is quite a bit and at that height it would make a big difference.

O'D wiring
Thanks,Ray, I'm flattered
I have some other detail shots if anybody is interested, and can give instructions on how to. |
