Ride Height Adjustments
Gang-
What is the best way to adjust front ride height on these 1/12th scales? I have CRC CK 3.2. I am struggling finding shim or anything to give me some decent front end ride height adjustment without trueing my fronts down so small. Any thoughts? What are you guys doing for adjustments? The CRC came with some aluminum washers, but they are awfully thick to use for adjustment. Thanks, Joe |

I personally have my tires cut down, so that I don't need spacers. I used to believe that it was a waste to cut down your tires, but have found that in the long run it is cheaper. WHY YOU ASK? Because you tend to chunk your tires more when they are full size, and sometimes they get so chunked they are unusable. My 2 cents |

Originally posted by JRX-S Bill Anyone know where to get the thin colored (blue, red, etc.) anodized aluminum washers from? I have seen them as shims on the front ends of a couple 1/12 cars, but didn't find out where they got them. Was hoping to find a much cheaper alternative. Joe |
I simply use those metal rings from hardware store...
yeah they are heavy but what the heck.......have had enough hassle looking for them. IRS seems have to good quality ones but donesnt have the "order" buttom in their website  |

Thanks. Joe P.S. The "order" button seemed to work for me...? Not sure why it didn't work for you. |

BSR has a line of 1/12 scale tires that is equivalent to all standard grades of JACO. The exception is the new 2 stage tires that JACO has introduced in the last month. The BSR wheel for 1/12 is very good. The front wheel uses the flanged bearing. The rear wheel can fit on either 2 bolt or 3 bolt rear hubs. There is an offset in the rear hub that is similar to the TRC/Parma wheels. Also, the BSR wheel comes in a white plastic that appears to be the most durable 1/12 scale wheel available. |
Ok so i was putting all my electronics in my new 12l4, and decided to tape in a battery to test that everything worked(i still have no tires so i coudlnt run it).
Taping batteries in that thing is a pain in my arse, it probably took me a half hour and i still didnt do a good job. taping batteries in my switchblade was easy. is there some trick to this or am i retarded? another question i have is the dampening disk, am i supposed to like sand that thing or lube it up cause it seems to move side to side to freely |
Anyone used the Orion Revolution Motors here yet? just wondering what peoples opinions are on these, looking at the 9x2.

Some use stealth diff lube, some use thick shock oil, some use even thicker stuff like Trinity purple stuff or 50k wt oil. Dom |

Cut the appropriate length of tape first, run the tape up the end of the chassis up and loop it in front of the chassis brace, leave the front side of the tape underneath the chassis, put your batts in and tape it down with the end side of the tape that just looped thru the end of chassis, then pull the front side of tape thru the tape hole in front of the batts and up, tape the batts down.
