just get the 1/12 kydex bumper direct from CRC. it works great and has no problem fitting under bodies. in fact it fits the parma speed 8 perfect. i think they had that body in mind when designing it. oh and dont everybody start jumping up and down saying its too heavy or effects steering, because its not
and it doesnt. Originally posted by stumper1 That's what I figured - looks like a great idea. Anyone know where to get them? |
I've been running a bumper for this season and it has saved a suspension re-build at least twice and has probably saved about 3 bodies. (they don't get wrapped under the nose anymore)

Hey, another question.
Can I change the 12L from the two hole to the three hole axle? I was talkin to a guy from Jaco and he says that most rear tires are set up for the three hole axle. |
You need to get a new axle assembly. Might as well get a large ring diff while you are at it. CRC and IRS have aftermarket options. Both are very good.

Originally posted by stumper1 I got a CRC bumper but it doesn't fit my Quad12 very well. Maybe Doug can make one to fit......... stumper1, A Yokomo foam bumper works great on the Quad12. They are a real body saver. Another thing you can do is to put 5/8" or 3/4" rubber bevel washers under the front body posts. Bevel washers are available in the plumbing department of your local hardware store. D.P. |

Do you by chance have a part# for the Yok bumper? |
Yokomo lists part # sp-12lsb as a Urethane foam bumper for an AE type front end, list price $5.50. I've never seen any pics of it but this should be what you need.
