Is there anywhere to buy JFT tires in the USA? Everyone is sold out.

Sounds like you answered your own question when you stated "everyone is sold out." :D

EDIT: But if you need some Ulti's RS270 Mediums, contact me.

Yeah, maybe buying tires that are constantly sold out is a bad idea. You don't want to end up in a situation where your car is tuned for tires that don't exist anymore.

Best way to measure tire diameter? I assume it's calipers, which I find somewhat not precise, but maybe there is a secret pro technique unknown to this 12 scale novice?

Thanks...

yeah, calipers. The easy way is to sort of set the caliper and roll the tire back and forth in the jaws, adjusting the width until the jaw just barely holds the tire, and thats the final number I use. Its good for telling the difference in wear between the inside and outside tire.

Did you try Dollar Hobbyz?
I just ordered 4 sets of spec tires.

If that is so I can't find anything but spec stripes on their website.

That's the only thing left, everything else is gone and JFT is dead.

It won't be restocked anywhere, ever.

Oh, well I didn't know that. Thanks.

Kind of disappointing, JFT tires were interesting.

How do you guys store foam tires over summer so they don't dry out till next winter season?

Just indoors. Don't cut them until you need them, and the foam exposed by the cut will be fresher than the outside.

Tires generally have some shelf life, if you cut them after storage.

Refrigerator. I have been doing this with slot car tires and have some in there for literally 10 years that are still good.
