I'd like to make the car generally less nervous, especially on corner exit. Is a more rounded front tyre profile going to help me? Plan to test it next time at the track but would like to know the general consensus.

Is that a dual a-arm front end you have there? Looks very nice. I thought that raising the front of the shock would actually reduce steering due to less aggressive weight transfer to the front, which would also explain better traction in the rear.

Yes, running 1s (edited my post above). Just looking for a ballpark number to try and then de-tune the speed as needed from there for my kids.
I would get a 70 tooth spur (Xenon makes a nice one) and use between a 53-60 tooth pinion depending on what fits. We typically run right around 100 mmpr on 17.5 1s so the numbers I gave should take you a little north of there depending on your tire size. If undergeared properly you may not need to detune the car any further. Even gearing to 105 or so and running the motor at neutral timing might do the trick.

Because the weight transfer to the front is less active going off throttle, I could even build in more steering.
Could even tap the brakes slighly in the same corner :-)

Found my old 1/12 scale in a box today. After searching online figured out is a 12L4. (Probably ) anyways is this thing still competitive? Not looking to win a roar national..but play at the track. I normally run off road, but ran touring yrs ago. I know very little about the car. Any pointers would be great. Thanks!

Hi guys. I'd like to know how can I put a thrust bearing on the axle of my s120 ltx. I tryed to put zen racing on (the short one) it but it seems the original axle of my serpent ltx it's too short, the nut can't lock properly.
Have you any idea on what i've to do?
Thank you so much
