Rev 3
Rev 3 owners,
How do you keep the new larger batteries from moving side to side. Mine move easily and ride up on the side link with any contact. Thanks Dave |

with the quad 12 we use a thin piece of foam tape on the batt brace it keeps batt from shifting around!

FiddleFaddle,
A flat file, and a little "fit" time and you will be good, just go slow, and make sure you don't remove to much of the batt slot, so they don't hang below the chassis. |

peanut butter... let's not even go there

YOU WILL ALL SEE THE LIGHT!!!:D ;) lol
As was said before just file/dremel/sand the battery holder, it might also be nessessary to do the same to the chassis itself. But dont do too much, keep on test fitting the batts to check. Also another thing that could cause that, is the nuts/screws that hold in the battery tray. Make sure that they do not hit the battery, if you use any other nut besides the stock non-locking mini 4-40 or any screw that pertrudes higher than the nut you are asking for trouble. I actually dremeld the nut so that the side that faces the batts is sloped just in case (although it might be a little much, lol). |
the one thing i like about the quad 12 i have been running dpowell made the opening for the batt at the perfect size that requires only slight sanding to get rid of the sharp edges and the batteries sit just about flus maybe a hair under the chassis for putting the wieght low as possible!
every other car i have ever had required a lot of sanding and filing. |
where can you oder the quad 12.

DPowel: I noticed that you hail from Denver. Is there much 1/12 scale racing there? My sister-in-law lives in Castle Rock. Could be a reason to visit more often....
