That's fine on your own but leaving the inside THAT exposed when you're dicing for position is just BEGGING somebody to barge up the inside and either a) take the line away from you (best that can happen), or b) drill you in the side as you turn in. :nod:

Like smaller then the Kimbrough 69T. 72mm rollout has me running a 32T pinion. I don't even think I can fit that on a 3.2R. :lol:

Robinson Racing has them down to 60 then as Casper said there is the BMI @ 58.

Don't know if anyone can answer this, but I'll give it a shot on this thread since this is the class that is using 1S LiPO's.

I have a Hyperion 0606i charger and just recently bought some of the SMC 4900 40C 1S LiPO's. I won't be using them for a month or so and wanted to run a Store charge on them with the Hyperion. When I start the Store charge it verifies there is no balancer connected, but then gets stuck in the battery check wait status and continues to beep. I was thinking maybe there is a problem with the battery. To verify this I ran a normal charge on it and it charges fine.

Anyone know what's going on here?

Is it waiting for you for some sort of interaction? I know on the hyperion duo the latest firmware set it to tick down and then start the charge. Maybe a firmware issue?

Well, it doesn't look like the 0606i has any firmware updates.

The "tick down", is it a series of beeps and then starts the charge?

Maybe I just need to let it beep for a while and see what happens.

Well, on the hyperion duo I have it actually is a count down saying its confirming the number of cells or voltage and if its ok to start the charge. Before my last update, it would just wait for me to press mode to start I believe. Now it just ticks down then starts. Its a 9 second tick down.

What are opinions on the following 17.5T motors, namely fit in CRC Gen X with brushless rear pod and performance:

- LRP X-11
- Tekin Redline
- Novak Ballistic
- Hacker

This would be used with a Speed Passion GT 2.0 ESC.

Keep in mind that, unlike the NiMH batteries of the last several years, as far as a LiPo is concerned "a month or so" isn't "storage"...it's just a little break between races.

My hyperion 0606i won't put a storage charge in the 1 cell lipos wither. I have 8 packs, 4 brand new and 4 older, and they all do the same thing. I think the software requires you have the balancer plugged into the battery to use the storage feature.
