Nice work on the bodies..

Here's what mine looked like at 14... :D

Slapmaster6000 01-18-2007 08:59 PM

Bob, some of the guys were hoping that you would have a "connection" by now. If you asked me, I would say that one didn't turn out very well so you decided to turn it inside out to see if anyone would notice. Am I right?

I really shouldn't be talking as my bodies look like a cheap cartoon drawing compared to what's getting shown.

Where's Frank? Wager up, buddy!

Anyhow the pics above have had me thinking lately. Lipo hasn't made it into 1/12th becasue of the lack of a saddle pack that will fit (and the fact taht a 4 cell nimh doesn't have an equivalent lipo voltage)

I can't help but think with all the 1/18th scale lipos out there that we couldn't find one that would fit nicely down the middle of one of these newer battery centered cars. Paired with an 18th scale bl motor esc combo I could be in racing heaven. Not that it'd be legal or anything. I am guessing we could eventually find a regulator to bring a 2 cell lipo down to an appropriate voltage. I have had this thought roaming in my head for too long and decided to throw it out just to get some feedback. might require .18 springs and 20 wt oil?
