Right turns

I thought right turns were just reserved for when the guy on the outside is just bothering you. hey we have had 10-15 just on normal club nights. With seven other classes on the two day race, we should still top 75-90 racers. not to bad for just a local club.

I think the CRC T-fource is a great choice, comes with all the hopups you need and can be an excellent car on asphalt or carpet. This is probably the most versatile car on the market since you can run a T-bar setup or use sidesprings.

Anyone have any tips for building the Silva shock? I don't remember it being such a pain the last time

Funny...I was just having an issue trying to get smooth (and full) action from one of my Silva shocks.

I have found replacing the foam insert almost everytime I build the shock helps tremendously. You shoudnt need tro rebuild it that often once you get the correct shock oil.

I have seen a couple of cars with snap in covers for their diffs, does anybody know where I can get some? Do the covers really help keep the dirt and carpet out?

There a schumacher part , But i don't feel they do a great job no

Have used then in the past but still need to rebuild your diff as often if you want it to stay nice :sneaky:

I've never used them, though I know that Kimbrough (scroll all the way down) also makes them. Maybe they do a better job.

A guy I race with used the Kimbrough covers, they worked good but he thought they didnt let the rear axle spin as free as without.

lineburner 11-28-2005 06:29 AM

Does anybody know where I can get the quick release shock mount??

There is a quick release shock mount?

That would be wonderfull, im tired of destroying ball cups using pliers to get the shock on and off.

The Kimbrough covers don't touch the working parts. They just partially cover the area of the diff balls and exposed rings to ward off some grit and carpet material. And they do add that fraction of an ounce to the drivetrain.
