Hi all, I have been informed by a serpent distributor that the design of the S100 has been changed from the original shown on RED RC (as per S120 Link) and is now able to accept 2s Lipo (as per XRAY GT10 Link). And should be available in the next week. Heres hoping that all this is true , cannot wait to try one.

I've been testing the 'final release' version for the last 6 weeks or so and I can tell you, 1) it does not look like the Red RC pics, 2) it handles super smooth and consistent, 3) the center damping pod makes an extremely predictable ride even with the twitchiest of set-ups, and it needs minimum upkeep unlike the dampener tubes. This will be the WGT to beat next carpet season oh an 4) it does not need the add on pieces like front stiffner plate, ESC mount wide body mounts etc etc...it is race worthly out of the box.

I imagine that the release will be delayed again to accomidate the changes that are upcoming on the 12 scale. Different offset in the pod and possibly back to the torpedo tubes.

Cammer, what is a McKune CRC that you mentioned? Never heard of it.

Is it a special version of the CRC Gen X10?

McKune makes a special chassis for the Gen X10
http://www.mckunedesign.com/genx10_chassis.html

Actually made for 1S Lipo battery but 2S works also.
Much stiffer and stronger than the original chassis and also looks much better in my opinion.
A friend of me is using this one and likes this alot.

I've sent several e-mails to the e mail address I got off of Redrc.net ads. You've got the same mail I've sent everyone I can think of manufacturing a WGT chassis.Since this is distributed in florida with two others and we have the longest electric series in the country (ROAR). It would be nice if they could answer.
