Default weekend

Not a bad weekend at the northwest carpet champs this weekend. Tqed expert stock and won the main on saturday and tqed and won 10.5 also.
Sunday was a little worse with my driving being off but the car was dialed .I ended up second in stock and third in 10.5 but got the overall in stock and second in 10.5.Car was near perfect all weekend. side note i ran the lowered towers with hpi springs all the way around and had no problems.

No out of 70 entries i had the only schumacher there .I ran the regular shock tower the first two rounds and then changed it to lower the front of the body a little to get it down on the carpet. Another good thing if you run the lower tower with the stock bottoms it limits the up travel almost perfect which is something i had not fixed on the car.Only thing is you would have to run rps cause the diameter is just small enough for adjustment without changing shock bottoms.

The way around this is to remove 2mm from the shock ball end, if the shocks are built to the normal length, more of the thread on the shock rod will show, but there will be a larger gap for the spring to fit in, can get my car really low now if required.

I haven't tried it but to be honest, I wouldn't bother. Just like you said, it'll push middle to exit, just like they do in any other car on asphalt.

I've been using a 116T spur and 45T pinion in my Mi2EC. Very snappy with plenty of speed.
