as a matter a fact you would probably break less if you just take the balls off the diff and tighten is down rather than use a spool in the rear. There is no give to the spool and you could break outdrives, cvd's and all kinds of stuff in the rear of the drivetrain. If you run the tightened diff but not completely tight, just enough so that it won't slip under driving conditions but that it will under wrecking conditions then you might cut down on broken parts.

Hi ..I would like to race the Mi3 in stock with rubber tires and on asphalt. How close is the set up if the kit has been built as per the manual? Would you recommend any changes?
The track is medium to large and medium grip. Thanks in advance.
Adrian.

Ernie ,my son races in similar conditions to what you are enquiring about and with the factory setup ie .going by all the measurements .
He has already beaten his PB and did it on a cold and dusty track ,so I would be recomending the factory setup without hesitation .
Having said that he did need a couple of heats to get used to the feel of the new car as it reacted faster in his veiw to driver imput .
Also just to prove to ourselves it is a good setup he ran the car the next meet without change and was getting the same times .With consistancies in the low .22 s .
hope this helps, Mark

what about the other half of the CVD (the "joint" assembly)? Will that be available separately also?
The axles are still back ordered and I don't remember the part number right now.
Top-deck is being looked into....
