EA motorsports....I dont think it was Domark he's only an oval racer. It could have been TJ Bradley the guy who won snowbirds.

More like the TJ right-of-way...

That kinda sucked for Ron- I know some people think he's well, ummm you know... but you just have to get to know him. I thought the same thing when I met him. Turns out I always enjoy hanging out with him. Just goes to show- don't always judge a book by it's cover.

Darkseid,

Do you still run your X-ray, if not why. I'm thinking about buying the Evo2. I have my Mission working really good. I'm definetly faster than I was with my Losi, but their are a few things about the Mission I don't like. Such as:

The material Schumacher uses is very soft and bends very easy, I'm not sure if it's steel or what. I'm replacing a lot of parts.

Some of the adjustments are a little time consuming to make, like the caster and wheel base adjustments.

I feel I wont have the same problems with the X-ray. What do you think??

rc fiend...are those you're only complaints with the mission?..

you should rethink swapping over if they are..

the castor clips can be obtained from schumacher to make the castor adjustments even uicker, right now I reckon I can do it in 5 mins...with the standard shims, so i feel its a non issue, and certainly a ton quicker than the tc3, Losi and any other car using c/hubs

the wheelbase adjustment takes me even less time?......remove the single screw holding the rear or front pin holders, slide out the pin slightly, remove teh shim and replace in desired order, and screw it back in..takes like 2 mins per side tops!..

as for durability...I have bent a couple of upper arms on a tight indoor track with unforgiving barriers, which love to grab ya by the nuts....but on our outdoor track I have only ever broken 1 arm..after a massive tap, which put me head on into a wall at the end of the straight, all that broke was the lower front arm...!

I have previously driven for Corally in Austrakia, and found that car to be of similar durability, but it would bend hingepins like butter!..the c4.1 is regarded as being stronger than the xray....as the serpent arms are beefier!

what exactly are you bending on your mission?..the outer king pins?..these can bend in a hard impact, but are cheap and easy to replace, I feel these help to prevent damage from any other components..

seriously though, the shcumachers engineering is top notch, they have evolved the cars design to this level over a period of years of refinement..

Congrats to Alex Lopez for his second and Timmy Heiser with his sixth place finish in stock at the ROAR On Road Nats over the weekend, as well as all the other Schumacher drivers. Wish I could have been there...

King G, yes those are mainly my only points. I'm a pretty decent driver, I place in the A-main in pro stock at my local track. My problem is that I'm spending money practically every week when someone hits me. Practice time at my track is brutal later in the day. I bending hinge pins, upper arms and get this last Sat. some idot decided he wanted to do oval practice and ran into me as I entered the straghtaway and bent two of my shock shafts. Everything for this car cost $9.99 and frankly it's getting pretty expensive to maintain this car. I'm to the point I'm afraid of getting hit. We don't have boards that do damage at my track all of your damage comes from others running into you or from brain fades and you hit the wall.

As I said other than those items I really like the car, man is it fast and I don't even think I have come close to the perfect setup yet.
