Nemesis 17.5 motor thread
Let the Talk begin. Is this motor better than the duo? How about the pulse? How are you gearing it compared to other motors?

Just got the duo 2 out of the car and the new one is going in. I will post some findings about how it performs on the track. Please give some feedback such as gearing..... so we can get this baby to optimal performance!!

With out knowing what speed control your running and what boost your on its going to be very hard to give any kind of gearing advice. I ran one in 17.5 on a very open track and was 5 teeth off wnat I would normally run, and I think it could drop even more and still keep great torque and top end.

This motor is fast. I went from a Duo 17.5 to a Nemesis 17.5 that i put at 20* of timing and it was noticibly faster. I didnt feel like i was losing any speed in the straight compared to other cars and im still using a GTB. I can only imagine what a newer ESC would do. My 2 buddies using them also liked them, one who was previously running a Duo2 liked the Nemesis better.

Question for you guys, I took the motor out of the box and read the instructions and it states that the motor was set for 0 degrees of timing but on the motor it self it looks like this:
Does this mean there is 15 degrees of motor timing then? Any help would be wonderful! thanks!!
