Default Xray T2 Setup Help

Hi, I'm new to racing and I was wondering if someone could give me a little advice. I am running an Xray T2 with a transmission ratio of 1.7, with a 108 spur. Racing in a 17.5 class on carpet track with rubber tires. Have a Speed Passion LPF 2.0 ESC. Any ideas on what size pinion gear I need and what settings I should run in the ESC (timing, punch, etc.). I have not adjusted the timimg in the motor. The motor is a Vector X12 from LRP. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

for 17.5T you can run abt 3.5FDR... that gives abt 52 for your pinion... of course this is dependant on track and personal preference.....

as for the esc settings, the stock settings are actually very good.... for stock class, i run max punch and timing with minimal drag brakes... but it is all also personal preference.... experiment!!
