Yes, the holes are the same

I'll be in contact with Mylaps soon, and ask them about the status of the new Transponders.

Best Regards

Sweet!!! Yeah you get the price down a little and I will start leaving them in the car instead of changing them out all of the time.

Dont get me wrong I think the current PT is a great device. Its even small enough but this is neat. Its good to see the technology continuing to improve.

I usually get an email from them when something new is coming.... last one was Oct 26.... nothing about this... "yet". Checking there site still "shows" the old one at $105..... so unless there is a shipping promo its $125.00 shipped.

I see an eigth digit on that new PT... will the current hardware and software pick that up???

Edit: Just tried to add an eigth digit to my number on AutoScore.... It doesn't allow it.

This is probably how AMB render the "clone" transponders obsolete...

8 digits...wonder how they get that to work with current decoders and software...

Also looks like they missed the ball again on making the wires replaceable.

or more than likely would just drive more business to them. Esp if these new transponders force people to buy new decoders or software.

Lightbulb

That could be just a "promo" pic... guess we'll find out soon.

If somebody showed up with an 8 dig PT... I couldn't load them in the system... nothing to do with the rest of the hardware. But I'm sure a software update will be out... If this exsists.
