funny thing is that money is cheap right now. the highest interest today is 1.34% Anual. and that is if you maintain $2500 month for 12 months. so i guess they would owe ya almost $34 if they had your money for a year and you purchase over $2500 worth of transponders.
not to worry, i have been waiting on 3 upgrades since december. but i have had use of my existing transponders until the new ones are available. so, i am only out less then $100 and i have had access to my transponders. and since they keep going up, i guess I have interest already being paid to me. and the rate seams to be better then any bank

I just called Mylaps (USA), and talked to Amanda...this is what I was told. If you ordered through the website you were charged then, but if you called them they would not have charged you until they had the transponders in stock (nice to know now). They recieve shipments on Wensday, and they did not recieve it today...they are hoping to have it next week. So that by the end of April thing...is out the window.

I don't believe the part about not being charged on a phone order based on what they have told me.
These are the emails I got:
Thank you for your inquiry about your RC4 order. Currently, we still do not have these items in stock but we are hoping to have them by the end of May or early June at the latest. We will send out an email when they are available to ship so that our RC4 customers can plan accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience that the delay has caused. Should you have any further comments or questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
another (after asking if the order could be cancelled and refunded):
they are being made in Holland as we speak but there were production delays in the beginning that set things behind schedule. They still have to be completely made and then shipped to us so that we can ship them from here. I totally understand your situation and we can refund your money and cancel your order. However, we can also change your order to RC2’s but they are more expensive so we won’t be able to ship as many of them for what you’ve already paid. Also, the price of the RC4’s went up in April so you won’t be able to order them later at the price you’ve paid. If you don’t have to cancel your order, I would recommend waiting. We have been told that it is most likely going to be the middle to the end of May but we can’t be that specific yet in case there are more delays we can’t see at the moment. Again, I understand and can sympathize with your situation and understand if you need to cancel but given that you ordered in January, you will be one of the first orders sent out as soon as they are available. We have many other folks whom have ordered after you and to have to re-place your order later would put you at the bottom of that list. Right now, you are order #9 in a list of about 200. Please call me if you would like to discuss this further.

Please keep an eye to your email for a UPS tracking number notifying you that your order has been shipped. All orders will be sent to the address given at the time your order was placed and a signature will be required on all deliveries so make sure someone is present at that address.

i would call them. I got a call monday that the new transponders were in and that I needed to send in my rc2 for the upgrade. they asked me to send them tracking info for the ones I send in and they will process mine and ship the replacements.

After not hearing anything from MyLaps, I gave them a call. Shelly indicated that they received an initial shipment of 400 which got them caught up with the orders that were placed prior to March 3rd. As my order was placed the 16th of March, I am hoping that they will receive another order soon.

Wow, after reading this thread I doubt Ill ever buy an AMB PT again. Ill just stick with MRT, cheapest and Ive never had to wait on shipping for 6 months LMAO!!

I placed an order in January (the 16th I believe) and still have not heard anything (except to keep waiting).
I'm guessing like everything with this stupid 'upgrade,' the reality of the situation is pretty far removed from what they are telling people.

Ordered my transponders early March (charged then)...they finally arrived in the mail today.
I have not plugged them in or tried to use them yet, but one issue I really do not like is how the transponder number is not really visible. It appears the number was stamped on the housing, then when it was all glued it faded a bit on the bottom, anyone else notice this?
