Default Xray T1 and left side saddle pack ?

Will I have handling problem with left side battery position ?

I'm too lazy to convert 3 + 3 configuration for T1. Hmmm.... not lazy, really, but I don't want to modify my batteries collection because my other cars such as yokomo and tamiya are configured to use left side battery position.

So I decided to use similar battery configuration : saddle pack

What do you think ? Am I going to fck up ?

You could, but why spoil one of the best things about the car, its balance?

If i am reading right, then you want 6 cells all on one side? If so i have heard some people doing it but the weight distribution is just off alot. If you think about it... 3x3 in rear just has alittle more wieght in the back with no electronics and then when you but a servo reciever and esc up there it almost evens it out. But i think sometimes you want more weight in the rear for traction.. i might be wrong

Yur battery jumper is so short that you can run a jumper wire (or braided wire - which I use) from cell to cell thats the same length as a battery bar-therefore making your packs work for TC3 and XRay.

Also-if you run all your batteries on one side-you'll have a terrible handling-always tweaked to one side Xray. Thin about it this way-motors and batteries are the heaviest components-on the Xray-the motors in the middle-not off to one side to offset the batteries.

I'm gonna try side battery first and see the handling...... if the car screw up then I have no chance except to use 3 + 3 configuration.

Oh well..... I regret that I already dremel the chassis to accept side battery.

I saw someone mention something about new bulkheads on the Worlds thread (Arvid aka Airwide?). Does anyone have pictures to confirm this?

IMO, the XRay 30's a bit thicker than Associated stuff, maybe a bit thicker than Losi.

On or off-power?
