ECS half shafts with ball diff?
Is anyone running the ECS shafts with a front ball diff? Would like to know if there are any substantial benefits when using the ECS shafts with a normal diff rather than a spool.
Am looking to reduce/eliminate the wheel vibrations at full lock which these shafts are supposed to be able to achieve.
Thanks.

i spoke to a better driver than me at a christmas race and he was running them but he hated then as he had to run drag brake to stop the car rolling too fast into the corners and running wide , the chatter helps the car slow down
i still run mine though think they are CHAV

Alloy shocks piston size
Flatout
The size you use must depend to some extent on setup, track, tyres etc.
Paul L uses 700 oil and 1.1 pistons on his Novak race winning modified setup.
My Ian runs 10.5 at Stafford and we use 500 oil and 1.2 pistons with Sorex 32 tyres but need to go back to 350 oil and 1.2 pistons if using Nosram CPX tyres.

spur/pinions
What are the most common types of spurs used for the new car?
Also range of spurs and pinions sizes for mod/13.5/17.5?
I could read the whole thread but you guys know it all by heart
I used to know it.. getting back after a break...

I haven't had a chance to go through this thread yet. I'm only on page 264 of 392 in the original T2 thread, but i've been just dying to ask this question.
Of those of you who had a T2'007, '008 and/or '009 - and now a T3, how much time would you say you shaved off of your lap time (if any) each time you upgraded? And along these same lines, are you placing any higher in races or because everyone's upgrading their ride, you're pretty much placing the same?

My personal experience was that the 007 was a good car but the 008 was much better and faster. I really struggled with the 009 and actually went back to a 008, now the T3 is out of the box as fast as the 008 that I ran, but for the most part the T3 just seems easier to drive.....

Figured out my t3 foam car woes..
For anyone that cares, My car was very erratic and hard to drive on the kit setup. See my earlier post. So I compared the rear t3 setup to my 2008 foam car discovered the lower suspension mounts standard setup for the t3 was the same as the 2008 high roll center. Also rear shock tower link point are 2-3 m higher then the 2008. This is probably great for the rubber setup, but traction roll city for my foam car. I changed the lower suspension mount to the long ones and lowered the inner links, and the car is like my 2008 was execept faster. I am a happy camper again.
