Yes, ECS will make your T3 go quiet. I do agree that even it does not has any performance advantage but its definitely looked cool.

FWIW, I know they are on backorder with RC America. So I'm guessing they will be hard to find. They are supposed to get their second batch of T3s this week so hopefully the ECS are with that order.

From a budgetary standpoint these seem to be a great deal since you can get a set for less than 1 of the ECSs. Just don't know if anybody had experience with these yet.

These are 50mm. I ordered a set, haven't put them into the car yet (t2-008). Their quality is equal to xray with 1 difference, the cross pins don't have flat spots. With any ecs, be sure to put a small piece of shrink wrap on the central part to keep the pins from coming out (even if you tighten and threadlock the set screws.)

If you want to try ecs universals, these can't be beat for the money.

It may be your skill level is not up to par to feel the difference on the track.

there is a performance feel to these on the track. Just like bodies have different driving character differences.

Have to agree totally here.ECS driveshafts with a spool give greater roll (speed) at corner entry especially on tighter tracks.

Yup, better corner speed and a much smoother feel with ECS's. I wouldn't run the 50mm shafts in composite drive cups though.

both myself and a friend have been running the 50mm atomic ecs shafts in composite drive cups without any problems. i run 10.5 and he runs 4.5.

if you guys are breaking stuff all the time then something is wrong. we loctite the grub screws and then also use heatshrink around the outside. not once has anything broken or even come loose.
