The fastest car there, an Mi4, just seems to be on rails compared to mine and it appears that the only real difference, apart from the driving, is the steering and corner speed through the corners.

Looks to me like your shock oil is way too thick...

At last years West London BRCA National I went from Xray 400 to 300 (all round) and it was a HUGE ammount faster. Thick shock oil at west london will make the car very sluggish and you will carry no cornerspeed!

I will be testing there soon with the T3 so Ill send you a setup sheet of what I end up on.

I'm with Phil on this. The same shock oil all round is definitely worth a try even if you don't go thinner. Thicker at the front will definitely slow the reaction and initial steering down.

1.5mm on the front hub is also worth a try instead of 1mm. This will give more initial steering.

Let us know how the changes have gone at Mendip if you're there Skiddins?

Yea, I always run my post in the forward position too. I like a lot of ackerman. Must be from all the foam racing I used to do

I tried 300 all around before and found that stiffere front oil helped. But the same settings with the T3 don't seem to be quite so effective.

I will however, try light oil all around next time.

Our next meeting is Bank Holiday Monday so I will try to use it as another test session.

Hi it's normal it's coming from your cvd's you can minimize it by getting yourself a set of ecs for the front.

A lot also has to do with the weight and balance of your wheel/tire combo

Something to think about. Do you normally race with the car on the stand??? Didn't think so.

I have the ecs axle's on the front and I set my epa's to my liking.I just wonder if this car is doing this while it is running around the track. The new axle's didn't help much. It still vibrates excessively while turning the wheels on the tech stand.I have never really noticed it before on my other cars .It might be because my Shuie has a diff. up front....Interesting

Decent shrink tubing will go 50% smaller, but I would count on about 75% for a good fit. Watch out for the stuff that has the insulation inside it as it will make the wall thickness just a little too big.
