Thank you both very much. It probably sounds petty but over charging for items like this are what could possibly keep me from purchasing another xray. So far the only touring cars I have owned have been xrays (2-t2's, 1-t2'008, 1-t3) but I might have to consider another brand next time.

Thats why I walk the track looking for the remains of the crash everytime I take a front corner off.

Default Asphalt setups

Here are some good asphalt setups from some Australian drivers. I have personally found the car to work well with all 3 stiffner posts in. All of these setups are pretty different so take your pick

http://forum.teamxray.com/xform/inde...=1227&setup=t3

Those are all Mod setups BTW

Just curious if any of those drivers tried 2* c-hubs. Also wondering what if anything is being used to prep the track? Thanks

I dont think they tried the C-hubs, I could be wrong though. Those setups were at 3 different tracks. I know that the tracks were cleaned. The one setup by Darrell Khemlani, the track they raced out was prep'd, but there was a dust storm and that didnt quite go so well for the track....The drivers were all wearing goggles Im not 100% sure, but i think the tracks were all painted with Boral paint Or at least 2

The problem is weight is a BS term that has no standard where cSt is.
Weight actually ramps up as the numbers get higher compared with cSt.

300 should be around 25wt where 600 is around 40-45wt
you are correct about weight not being standard. we throw that term around with motor oil for you car too. the W actually stands for "winter" and has to do with performance at a standard cold temperature condition.

Just to clarify, the weight numbers in bold were provided by xray. the non-bold were predicted. what you called ramping was taken into account because i didnt generate a linear model....its actually an exponential fit.

you can be confident my numbers for xray silicone oils are correct..... and how they relate to another brand is surely debateable. i was definitely not trying to compare 'weights' between brands, but only provide a meaningful point of reference for xray owners who use xray silicone oil.

Have you guys tried the Capricorn spider gears? I hear their gears are a direct fit for the NT1 diffs, and they are plastic. I've also heard their pins are aluminum and will work as well. Might be something worth looking into.

but then you would have non-xray parts on your car and if you read pages 20-40 you will find out that's bad, lol

?
Asphalt 120x60 sprayed, 4.5t lipo, rubber tires, EU edition all top deck screws except front post stock kit setup

need alittle more on and off power steering, rear is planted
little less rear toe?
fronts seem alittle overworked maybe more rear weight or droop?

Yup, that's one of the key parts for me. I am waiting on them to come in for my NT1 first. Durability test with nitro car first, then overall test for T3 . The cool think about the diff gears etc is they should be stocked by a couple USDM hobby shops

Try one step softer front spring or 2 deg front camber - it should help.
