The 962 that SLB has on their site also looks really nice. The Bolink 962 was the standard years ago before their later released Nissan GTP-ZXT started dominating the track. The version of the 962 they have is reminiscent of a version made specifically for the .15 10th scale Nitro class that started up in the 90’s, but I don’t remember who made the original mold.

Anyone know if SLB has international distribution?

Thanks, PTH - I’ll see how well Google handles the German to English translation and give it a shot to get it shipped here to the US. I have my old RC10L that I used in competition many years ago, and has been naked far too long. With as many victories and well fought campaigns as she has had over the years, she at least deserves to be a dressed shelf queen. 🙂 That 962 will certainly bring back old memories for sure.

Pretty sure the SLB / MIX 962 is a Serpent. At least the one I bought had a feint Serpent logo moulded in it! Pretty sure the little bulges in front of the cockpit line up with the shock towers on the Impact 2.

Yes, you are correct, the Mix 962 is based on the Serpent body.

This is probably a question with s obvious answer, but what measurement is used to determine whether a chassis is a 235mm width? Is it the rear width, if so, wheels on or off?

Thanks for any info 👍

Tires on, measurement in the rear of the car. The front is usually narrower, like by 8 to 10mm or so. There have always been quite a few differing design ideas though, so lots of variations.

The outside of the rear wheels. As such wheels on. Your front may measure around 220ish.

Max wide with wheels on.
Most of the time the rear is at it's max and the front a bit smaller track wise.

Regards Roy
