Novak Ballistic goes Spec. No longer just for modified.
These motors look to be one of the best available for people wanting to only buy one or two motors. They can be completely rebuilt, and the stack/winding can easily be swapped out to any other available wind. Buy a 10.5 motor, then buy a winding for 13.5 and 17.5 for less than half a new motor, and now you effectively have 3 motors. The windings have a color coded tab that is externally displayed for quick identification. And FINALLY, we can have a Novak Spec Class motor that has a replaceable motor sensor wire.
Thank you Novak!

Novak......
it's a pity they didn't care about LOSI.... you must bend the soldering tabs if you want to use a Ballistic...

mhhhh how would be the performance of this ballistic motors on 13.5 presentation v/s the old 13.5 SS PRO motor with 13mm rotor ?
In my country the 13.5 class its very strong and on novak motors the optional rotor it approved, and i want to know if its a good change to go for a ballistic compared to my actual 13.5 ss pro w/13mm rotor
thanks a lot,

I want to know how they will compare to the duo 13.5's. It seems like the old novak 13.5 with a SPX you cant go as nuts on timing as you can on the duo

balistic soldering tab
that hit the chassic, anyway it might not works on losi
and speed passion might done think about it

$90 for a complete and $30 for the wind of your choice. Someone was really thinking over at novak. Now we just gotta see how it likes timing.

How hard is it to bend the solder tabs, does it weaken them? I want to use a spec ballistic 13.5 in a losi type-r.

you see the tabs had a curved on the bending, that's might make it's weaken.
yeah i guess still balistic must think of how to place the tabs diffrently,
any how if the tabs was put invert side of the bending, it just might disturb the sensor harness.
any how it must have new tabs to other side, that must also not disturbing the sensor, and timing.
perhaps bend to the left or right of the motor, or like speed passion does.
where the sensor wires harness i think would be ok on that possition to be safe.
