Novak Ballistic goes Spec

I believe that the Ballistic motor is ROAR approved. I have seen the Ballistic motors at the track and with sufficient timing, and proper gearing, the motors are extremely fast. A Novak Ballistic motor at West Coast RC in La Mirada last Thursday night was clocked at 40 MPH on the straightaway!

I agree with you on your previous comment regarding the Duo2. There were some fast ones there but they weren't on the track at that time to be clocked.
The great thing about the Ballistic motor is its versatility! The placement of the sensor cable is just great.

Anyone have a chance to run the new 17.5 or 13.5 Ballistic yet? If so what speedo did you run with it and roughly what gearing compared to what you ran previous?
Going to try the 17.5 this weekend with the Tekin RS and 200 software. Gearing should roughly be 4.65 or so to 5.10 depending on the turbo feature setting.
I ran the Duo with the SPX a few weeks back at setting #8 middle hole on the timing geared at 4.63 and motor was 165 after 6 minutes. Be interested in what is going to happen with the Tekin and the Ballistic motor.

I will check, but most of the Shopatron shipping prices are set by them, not Novak. I think that we can lower the prices on manufacturer direct items only; those lower shipping prices are borne by us, not the dealers

NovakTwo do you know what the factory timing is set at on the new Ballistic 17.5 motor?

The timing set at the factory is an ACTUAL 30 degrees... not to be confused with the "degrees" you might see on other brand's motors.
