Well, tried the chassis it does feel alot better. Especially more corner rotation speed and steering. Was about .1 - .2 faster

Thanks kiddo!

So, will the new narrow chassis update either the regular 09 or lipo ready 09 to being what you are now running?

I want to use the original 42t/21t pulleys, but the center wheelbase bearing holders to get the axels straight on the new arms. Anyone know what belts I can use to make that work?
Bearing holders facein front is also a okey solution if there is belts that fitt.

Also, using the new arms and tamiya c-hub/steering knuckel it's stil 48mm axels that fits?

Well after the hottest weekend of the year here in the UK im well toasted but well worth it as i won the latest round of my local clubs summer series in the 17.5/27t class.

Set FTD on 18/311 with second coming in on 17/300 , as the weather was so good with 32c air temp ( far to hot for me ) we ran 3 leg finals with best 2 to count.

1st leg got a good lead of half a lap at mid point only to be tagged by a lapped car and recovered by a marshal dropping me to 5th or 6th but fought back to take 2nd just 2.5 seconds behind the winner.

2nd leg and a stupid mistake by me ment i was fighting back from rear of the field again and taking another 2nd which left 3 of us tied on 4 points ( other 2 drivers had a win and a 3rd ).

3rd leg and all to play for and at last everything goes right from buzzer to buzzer for a much needed win. I took the out right win thanks to my FTD as myself and another driver tied with a win and a second each.

Had to work for it and do things the hard way, may only be a local club series meeting but im well happy with the result. Not going to post a setup as im still not 100% happy with the car but im getting there even if i am alittle race rusty and prone to the odd stupid mistake.

If your trying to achieve a 2.0 internal drive ratio, the best scenerio I have used and found was the 36 pulley's and an 18 layshaft pulley, with a 501mm front belt and an 183mm rear belt. Still using the middle rear diff holder's and also the straight arm's too. This combination put's the layshaft as close to the original layshaft postion, it is about 1 - 1.5 mm farther forward. If there was a 504mm front belt available (used with a 180mm rear belt) that would be the best combination.

I can't answer your second question- sorry.

So how is the new narrow chassis going now a few people have had it for a couple of weeks ?

I set a new PB at my local club running in the 17.5/27t class with the lipo chassis and straight arms but feel there is still more time to come yet.

I'm just leavin the arms the wat they are, it works.

As to my second question I got my hands on some tamiya parts and tryed it out. The 48mm axels work fine with the delrin spool, but will probably be to long with the alu. one. Found a picture of Marc Fischers car, he was running 44mm tamiya axels.
