For the 1s lipo pack, what receiver pack are people using for 1/12? and where are you getting them? online or making them yourself?
Thanks in advance. If you want a receiver pack I would get the oldschool 1/3 aaa cells. They last longer (more cycles) than the little LiPo's for me. Try some of the oval places if you want a pack (lefthander RC for instance). |

LOL...we had to rework some of our design, very minor changes, but it has caused some delays. The straight pack will be available in 2 weeks. The lipo saddle pack is late September, but it will be well worth it for those running a t-bar car. With both packs, I wanted to release something that will not be obsolete within months.
As far as connectors, they will be 4mm. The packs will have a flat bottom and I do plan on including battery guides or battery rails. Any other questions, please feel free to ask. lipo saddle pack :D Do you whant to take pre. orders Alf :-) |

My favorite pack so far has been my SMC 4900 50C. The Thunderpower 5000 40C is pretty nice too.

whats the standard charging procedure with these packs. Should i be discharging them after everytime i run like the nimh cells, or do i just charge them?

just charge them. lipos are amazing. they can sit on a shelf full charged, half charged, whatever. you can charge on top of a half charged battery after it's been sitting. you can charge more than once a day. you don't have to 'cycle' anymore. no more 'taking care of' your cells.
you should read up on them. |
